Chapter 1

The end of this meaningless war getting near.

Solios, the father of light and guardian of the universe, spoke a phrase that was both simple and perplexing.

Solios was an extraordinary being with incomprehensible power. He held dominion over time and the pulse of the universe. In fact, he had the ability to rewrite the fate that was inscribed in the grimoire, which was a book of destiny that the great creator had left specifically for Solios to execute.

Since the dawn of time, the grimoire has been an integral part of the world, left by the galaxy's creator for Solios to carry out its destiny. As the pages of the grimoire reach their conclusion, they signify the end of a long-standing disharmony in this realm.

A diminutive figure, disguised as a monk, stood amidst the towering immortals. One could easily mistake him for a mortal, but his presence was unmistakable, like that of a goddess-like figure stood beside Solios, witnessed the epic battle between the champions of light and dark. observing the epic confrontation of arch-enemies unfold.

“I can’t believe that the power possessed by both managed to wreck the whole barrier, master.” In a voice that trembled with uncertainty, the youthful deity spoke, unable to comprehend the sight she had recently beheld.

“A conflict that has lasted for eons. Both young warriors carry the will of their ancestors and bring forth the march of death. I have witnessed the past and present, but I do not wish to see the future of me as the same spectator of this senseless dissension.”

In a lengthy depiction, Solios expressed his disappointment towards the conflict between the two most dominant powers in the realm's history. He could not comprehend the numerous lives lost due to their egotistical animosity towards one another.

Despite his countless efforts to bring both sides together and break down the barriers between the three realms, unnecessary deaths continued to occur. Moreover, the mortal realm that had lost faith in them made matters worse.

“Master, should we stop them?” The young goddess speak with great distress as she witnessed numerous demons and archangels succumb to their demise due to the gradual depletion of power from the two emperors.

“It's just a beginning, my dear disciple. This might be the first time for you to witness such a gruesome setting. Yet, this might be not the first or last for you to stop their fight.” Solios exuded an air of arrogance but spoke with unwavering confidence. His deliberate use of pauses in between sentences seemed to hint at something, perhaps a message to a young goddess who was yet to uncover her past.

The youthful deity plunges into a state of perplexity upon hearing Solios' declaration. Each utterance from her mentor is a precious gem of sagacity, disclosing the mysteries of the divine realm and revealing what is yet to come. She ponders over what happened in her forgotten history and eagerly anticipates the insight her mentor will present this time around.

“It has been thousand years, my dear Arch Sparrow. I do forgive if you choose to let go of those painful memories of the past,” Solios advanced as he spoke, carrying along with a tone of confidence and certainty.

“Thousand years ago?” As the young goddess, Arch Sparrow, listened to the impending truth, she swallowed her voice in anticipation.

“Arch Sparrow, or goes by many names in the past. But master still likes to acknowledge the one and only, the humble arch angels that throw away her magnificence to become a nobody of today.”

As Arch Sparrow took a brief pause, she rephrased her words to truly capture the wonder Solios had sparked within her.

“By any chance, did I reborn? My memory wipes out or—” Arch Sparrow voice was shunned, exhaled deeply before inquire further. “—did I choose to forget? Those painful memories?”

As Solios gazes upwards, he observes a mix of emotions in the face of his closest student - innocence, confusion, and fear all intermingled. Meanwhile, Arch Sparrow, a divine creature hailing from the heavens, struggles to comprehend why someone would abandon their past due to traumatic experiences.

Suddenly, a loud blast echoes in the distance, prompting Arch Sparrow to erect a protective barrier, shielding themselves and others from harm's way. In a split second, she casts multiple spells to deflect the incoming debris, which narrowly misses them.

“You have a wonderful journey in your life, Arch Sparrow. Once, you despise the two men who struggle within the commandment of their ancestors, you were once like me, grown dishearted and wish for nothing but to halt everything.”

“Joke aside, master. How in the world I could stop them?!” As Arch Sparrow observed Solios' statements, she couldn't help but notice the contradiction in what he said. “Not to mention, my leg begins to shiver just to damper these flying blocks.”

“I wish that was a joke that I could crack on you at the moment, but it was the truth that you’ve chosen to bury along with your past.” Solios vehemently expressed his disagreement through his words.

He lifts his hand spontaneously to intervene in the situation. With a single swipe of his finger, Solios absorbs everyone's energy, breaking the brick into pieces and lowering their barrier in the process.

“Thank you, master.” As Arch Sparrow watch in awe, she feels relieved upon realizing that the power of Solios has successfully managed to shield them from the sudden force, causing the large bricks to reduced to a hail of sand.

“Arch Sparrow of North Gate Haven Realm,” Solios declares his summon as he feels that the moment has arrived for his student to participate in the predetermined story inscribed in his destiny book.

“I am heed to your command, master.” Without a moment's delay, Arch Sparrow knelt down upon hearing the solemn tone of Solios.

“There are two paths in front of you. It was a yes, or no. To go or not to go. Forth or back in this predetermined fate.”

As Arch Sparrow pondered upon the answer she must provide, a complete silence engulfed her mind. She contemplated how to ensure that everything wasn't predetermined by fate. Deep down, she detested this idea and felt the urge to scream. Having lost her memory, she had made sacrifices to start afresh, unencumbered by any worries of her past life.

Despite this, she acknowledged the emotions that Solios' words stirred within her. Solios attempted to convince her to follow the path that had been laid out for her, but she wasn't certain if it was the right one for her. The conflicting thoughts in her mind made it difficult to make a decision.

“What if I see to differ with both?” Arch Sparrow summoned her courage and ventured forth to seek a change, aware that there were meant to be three paths instead of just two before her.

“Dragonought Achala, previously known as Apollyon Achala. Your fiance, your husband to be, end up walking alone in this misery path,” As Solios speaks, the long-forgotten memories of the past start to resurface. Only he can recall the details of their shared history. “Emperor of Dual Dragon, previously known as Aurelius Nithe. Your biological brother, the current emperor of the heavenly realm, ends up forgetting your existence and walks the same path as Dragonought. Everything begins with you, and now, it shall end with you, Dalia Aella.”

“Dalia?” As the name rolled off Solios' tongue, followed by her last name Aella, Arch Sparrow's mind was stung with a sudden recall of the forgotten past. Memories came flooding back, pounding relentlessly inside her head.

Once known as the tempest of fate, Dalia Aella was the only entity created by the vast universe's creator. Her purpose was to intertwine with the most conflicted skirmishes that had lasted since the beginning of this world.

Despite her cruel fate, Dalia chose to forget, not remembering the love life she acquired or the disparage she faced from both realms. As the real ruler of three realms, her identity deflected her path, causing her to throw herself back into the bottom pit, where she became a nobody possessed of nothing but a mere power as an angel.

Solios gradually unraveled the secrets of the past, cautiously considering each detail to ensure his conviction. His goal is to follow the path written in the grimoire, ensuring that everything falls into place, in order to protect the world from a repeat of the domination it had faced billions of years ago.

This is the beginning of the tale where the world faces it final hour, when a single entity held the fate of both herself and the world in her hands. Depending on her choice, the world could either continue down the path of destruction, brought about by two young individuals wielding the power of antithetical, or could the world once again find peace if she chose to return to the path and end the conflict for a brief period.
